Alafair Burke

Alafair Burke is an American crime novelist and professor of law. A New York Times bestselling author, she has written fifteen solo novels, including The Ex and The Wife, and co-authored eight books with Mary Higgins Clark. Her work features recurring characters such as NYPD Detective Ellie Hatcher and prosecutor Samantha Kincaid, and her writing has been translated into more than a dozen languages.
