Alexandra Munroe

Alexandra Munroe is an American curator and scholar specializing in modern and contemporary Asian art. She has organized over 40 exhibitions, including major retrospectives for artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Yoko Ono, and Cai Guo-Qiang. Her work, including the foundational project Japanese Art after 1945: Scream Against the Sky, has been instrumental in establishing the field of postwar Japanese art history in North America.
