Allan Kaprow

Allan Kaprow was an American painter, performance artist, and installation artist who helped develop the concepts of the Environment and the Happening during the 1950s and 1960s. Throughout his career, he created approximately 200 Happenings before shifting his focus to Activities, which explored ordinary human behavior. His work significantly influenced the development of Fluxus, performance art, and installation art.
