Anja Niedringhaus

Anja Niedringhaus was a German photojournalist who worked for the Associated Press. She was the only woman on the team of eleven AP photographers that received the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography for their coverage of the Iraq War. In 2005, she was also honored with the International Women's Media Foundation's Courage in Journalism prize.
