Art Spiegelman

Art Spiegelman is a Polish-American cartoonist, editor, and comics advocate born in 1948. He is best known for his graphic novel Maus and his influential work as a co-editor for the magazines Arcade and Raw. Spiegelman served as a contributing artist for The New Yorker for a decade starting in 1992. He is married to designer and editor Françoise Mouly and is the father of writer Nadja Spiegelman.
