Barry Jenkins

Barry Jenkins is an American filmmaker who made his directorial debut with the 2003 short film My Josephine. He later directed the feature film Medicine for Melancholy, which earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best First Feature. In addition to his work as a director and screenwriter, Jenkins serves as a creative collaborator with the Chopstars collective.
