Carl Sandburg

Carl Sandburg was an American poet, biographer, journalist, and editor. He is best known for his collections of verse including Chicago Poems, Cornhuskers, and Smoke and Steel, as well as his biography of Abraham Lincoln. Over the course of his career, he received three Pulitzer Prizes for his contributions to American literature.
