Carlo Cassola
Carlo Cassola was an Italian novelist, essayist, and partisan. He is best known for his 1960 novel La Ragazza di Bube, which was awarded the Strega Prize and later adapted into a 1963 film directed by Luigi Comencini. His literary career spanned several decades, contributing significantly to Italian literature throughout the mid-twentieth century.
