Caroline Schneider

Caroline Schneider Wiseneder was a German composer and music educator known for developing a musical notation system for the blind and a kindergarten music curriculum. She founded the Wiseneder Music School for the Blind in 1860 and established various singing societies. Her pedagogical methods, which included the use of tuned toy instruments, were widely adopted by the national kindergarten movement in Germany.
