Dorothy Gallagher

Dorothy Gallagher is an American memoirist and biographer born in 1935. She is recognized for her work on the Italian-American anarchist Carlo Tresca in All the Right Enemies, which was named a New York Times Notable Book of the Year in 1988. Additionally, she authored Lillian Hellman: An Imperious Life, a critical biography examining the life and career of the noted playwright.
