Franck Goddio

Franck Goddio is a French underwater archaeologist born in 1947. He is known for his extensive work in Egypt, where he discovered the city of Thonis-Heracleion and led excavations at the submerged site of Canopus and the ancient harbour of Alexandria. Additionally, he has conducted significant maritime archaeological research in the Philippines, including the excavation of the Spanish galleon San Diego.
