Hal Buell

Hal Buell was an American photographer who served as the head of the Photography Service at the Associated Press for twenty-five years, overseeing an international staff of 300. He authored several books, including Moments: The Pulitzer Prize-Winning Photographs and Uncommon Valor, Common Virtue, a biographical work focused on war photographer Joe Rosenthal.
