Heide Fehrenbach

Heide Fehrenbach is an American historian and a Board of Trustees Professor at Northern Illinois University. A 2007 Guggenheim Fellow, she specializes in German history, with a focus on nationalism, ethnicity, and gender. Her published works include Cinema in Democratizing Germany, Race after Hitler, and After the Nazi Racial State, as well as several co-edited volumes on historical and humanitarian themes.
