Hieronymus Cock

Hieronymus Cock was a Flemish painter, etcher, and influential print publisher active in the 16th century. Through his publishing house, he transformed printmaking into an industry based on the division of labor, producing over 1,100 prints between 1548 and 1570. He is recognized as one of the most significant print publishers in northern Europe during his lifetime.
