J. B. Trapp

Joseph Burney Trapp was a New Zealand-born British academic, librarian, and literary historian. He served as the director of the Warburg Institute and held the position of Professor of the History of the Classical Tradition at London University from 1976 to 1990. His career spanned roles as a university teacher, archaeologist, and literary scholar, contributing extensively to the fields of literary criticism and the history of literature.
