Jack Kirby
Jack Kirby, born Jacob Kurtzberg, was an American comic book artist, writer, and editor. Raised in New York City, he entered the comics industry in the 1930s and became a prolific creator known for his work at Timely Comics and National Comics Publications. Alongside Joe Simon, he co-created the superhero Captain America in 1940. He is widely regarded as one of the medium's major innovators and influential figures.
