Jacob Epstein

Sir Jacob Epstein was an American and British sculptor who played a significant role in pioneering modern sculpture. Born in the United States, he relocated to Europe in 1902 and became a British subject in 1910. His career spanned decades, establishing him as a prominent figure in the development of twentieth-century figurative art.
