Jacques Pepin

Jacques Pépin is a French-American chef, culinary educator, television personality, and artist. After serving as the personal chef to French president Charles de Gaulle, he moved to the United States in 1959, where he worked in prominent restaurants and later held a development role at Howard Johnson's. He has authored over 30 cookbooks and appeared on television, including the Emmy-winning PBS series Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home.
