Jan de Jong

Jan de Jong served as the ice master of the Thialf skating stadium in Heerenveen, Netherlands. He managed the facility's ice from its 1967 opening as an outdoor oval through its transition into the world's first indoor ice stadium in 1986. De Jong held this position until his retirement in 2000, when he was succeeded by Beert Boomsma.
