John Lewis Gaddis
John Lewis Gaddis is an American historian, political scientist, and writer specializing in Cold War history and grand strategy. He serves as the Robert A. Lovett Professor of Military and Naval History at Yale University. Gaddis is the official biographer of diplomat George F. Kennan, and his 2011 work, George F. Kennan: An American Life, received the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography.
