Kao Kalia Yang

Kao Kalia Yang is a Hmong American writer and memoirist based in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is the author of The Latehomecomer: A Hmong Family Memoir and The Song Poet, and she wrote the lyric documentary The Place Where We Were Born. Her work has appeared in various literary journals, and she serves as a contributing writer for the Public Theology Reimagined blog.
