Kathryn M. Rudy

Kathryn M. Rudy is a manuscript historian at the University of St Andrews. She is recognized for her forensic approach to medieval books, notably pioneering the use of densitometers to measure physical traces left by historical readers. Her research examines the reception and manipulation of manuscripts, as well as the transition of book-making skills following the rise of the printing industry.
