Margaret Murray

Margaret Alice Murray was a British Egyptologist, archaeologist, anthropologist, historian, and folklorist. She served as the first female lecturer in archaeology in the United Kingdom, holding a position at University College London from 1898 to 1935. Additionally, she served as the president of the Folklore Society between 1953 and 1955 and was a prolific author throughout her career.
