Marian Schwartz
Marian Schwartz is an American translator specializing in contemporary Russian literature. With over 70 translated books of fiction, history, biography, and criticism, she is the principal English translator of Nina Berberova. Based in Austin, Texas, she is a two-time recipient of National Endowment for the Arts translation fellowships and a former president of the American Literary Translators Association.
