Mark Elliott

Mark C. Elliott is an American sinologist and historian serving as the Mark Schwartz Professor of Chinese and Inner Asian History at Harvard University. He also holds the position of Vice Provost for International Affairs at the institution. Elliott is recognized as a seminal figure in the New Qing History school of thought, focusing his academic work on the history of China and Inner Asia.
