Miranda Shaw

Miranda Shaw is an American author and scholar specializing in Vajrayana Buddhism. She holds degrees from Ohio State University and Harvard University, where she earned her doctorate in the study of religion. A former faculty member at the University of Richmond, Shaw is the author of Passionate Enlightenment: Women in Tantric Buddhism, which received several honors in 1995 including the James Henry Breasted Prize.
