Paul Scott

Paul Mark Scott (1920–1978) was an English novelist, playwright, and poet best known for his tetralogy, The Raj Quartet. In 1977, his novel Staying On was awarded the Booker Prize. Following his death, his work gained significant public and critical acclaim after being dramatized by Granada Television during the 1980s.
