Poul Kjaerholm

Poul Kjærholm (1929–1980) was a Danish designer who began his professional life as a cabinetmaker's apprentice in 1948. He later attended the Danish School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen and pursued further studies under professors Erik Herløw and Palle Suenson. In addition to his career in furniture design, Kjærholm served as an educator and was married to the architect Hanne Kjærholm.
