Rick Bass

Rick Bass is an American writer and environmental activist who holds a Bachelor of Science in geology from Utah State University. Before focusing on his writing and teaching career, he worked as a wildlife biologist and an oil and gas geologist. He has held positions at numerous universities across the United States and currently teaches at the Stonecoast MFA program in Maine. His written work is archived at several institutions, including Texas Tech University.
