Ruth Prawer Jhabvala

Ruth Prawer Jhabvala (1927–2013) was a German-born British and American novelist, short story writer, and screenwriter. She is widely recognized for her long-standing collaboration with Merchant Ivory Productions. Throughout her career, she received the Booker Prize for her fiction and earned two Academy Awards for her work in film.
