Scott Soames
Scott Soames is an American philosopher born in 1945. He serves as a professor of philosophy at the University of Southern California, having previously taught at Princeton University. His academic work focuses on the philosophy of language and the history of analytic philosophy, with notable contributions to the study of Kripkean semantics and critiques of two-dimensionalist theories of meaning.
