Tove Jansson

Tove Jansson was a Finland-Swedish author, novelist, painter, and illustrator. Born to artistic parents, she studied art in Helsinki, Stockholm, and Paris between 1930 and 1938. She held her first solo exhibition in 1943 and maintained a prolific career as a writer and visual artist throughout her life, creating illustrations for books, advertisements, and postcards.
