Founded in 1983, Atlas Press specializes in avant-garde and extremist prose ranging from the 1890s to the present. The publisher maintains an extensive catalog focused on movements including Dada, Surrealism, Expressionism, the Oulipo, the Collège de ‘Pataphysique, and the Vienna Actionists. It is currently the largest English-language publisher of books dedicated to Surrealism.
